Healthy Newborn

This ward provides services to newborns with specialists and experienced medical staff in every shift on the second floor of the hospital, adjacent to OB/GYN ward.

Since this hospital is known as a child-friendly hospital, the method of newborn and mother room mating is fully implemented using didactic pamphlets and videos.

Dedicated trainings such as family-oriented care (preparation for how to care at home) after discharge, how to breastfeed, hugging and keeping the baby in the KMC way and massaging him/her by mother and measures such Audiometry, Vaccination and Follow-up of baby after discharge by the breastfeeding support group are the activities of this ward.

 The ward manager of healthy newborns and Post NICU is Dr. Motahareh Golestan and Mrs. Soraya Hosseini is nurse manger.
