Delivery Room
Delivery room of the Madar Hospital is located on the first floor and adjacent to the NICU ward. Nursing station and rooms of examination, labor and delivery are its main parts.
Services provided to patients in this ward include:
- Physiological and painless childbirth at all hours of one day
- Monitoring the Fetal Heart Rate -NST(Non-Stress Test), and its monitoring in the delivery room, on holidays it is done in the midwifery triage unit located in the emergency
- Doing Amnisure Rom Test with the specialist’s order
- Having the Labor hospital beds with maternal and fetal health monitoring facilities for high-risk pregnancies, Patients with problems such as Discharge, Vaginal Bleeding, Reduced Fetal Movements, Gestational Hypertension, Preeclampsia, Possibility of Premature Birth and Threat of Abortion
- Providing the Primary care to prepare patients before Emergency Caesarean Section
- Presence the experienced and skilled midwifes to perform safe vaginal birth
- Carrying out vaginal births using a variety of drug and non-drug pain-free methods, Relaxation, Aromatherapy and Entonox
- Performing KMC (Kangoro Mother Care) (skin-to-skin contact) of mother and infant immediately after vaginal birth
- Presence of an accompanying midwife to perform vaginal birth
- Controlling the pregnant mothers who suffer from Uterine Atony after childbirth or Cesarean Section with the presence of expert and experienced midwives
- Controlling mothers for one hour in the Post Partum section to check Vaginal Bleeding
